Our Range is on the Sywell range complex. This is about 4 miles from Northampton, off the A43 truck road between Northampton & Kettering.

Detailed Directions

In order to find us the first thing you need to do is get on to the A43.

If travelling from the North

The easiest way is to get on the A14 at Junction 19 M1

Follow the A14 down (About 20-25 miles) until you see signs for the A43 (This is about 2 miles after a Macdonalds on your left), You want the turning for A43 - M1 (Please note this is the second turning for the A43, they are about 1 mile apart), As you come off the A14 take turning for A43 towards Northampton (Its the turning with car scrap yard on your right).

If travelling from the South

Either M11, A14. Follow the A14 towards the Midlands (M1 North) You want the turning for A43 Towards Northampton. Its about 38 miles from junction 12 M11. Turning is just beyond garage on left with a Little Chef & a Travel Lodge. There is a Crane storage site on your right with a big green crane visable from the A14.

Or come up the M1 to junction 15a. Turn off towards Northampton & follow A45 towards the east. Look for sign for A43 Kettering. Its about 10-20 miles from M1. Once on A43 head towards Kettering.

Once you are on the A43

From North:

Follow the A43 for about 6-8 miles, You will see sign for a left hand turning, Once you see this start indicating left as the turning to the range comes up very fast & is partly hidden by hedges, etc. Turning has sign for Sywell ranges & two big green metal gates.

If you miss the turning, carry on along the A43 & you will come to roundabout for Sywell Airport after about 4-5 miles. Go round the roundabout & go back the way you came. (See Instructions from south for what to do)

From South:

Once on the A43, you will come to roundabout with turning for Sywell Airport. Keep following the A43 towards Kettering, after about 4-5 miles you will see a sign for a right hand turning. Once you see this start indicating right as the turning comes up very fast & is partly hidden by hedges, etc. Turning has a sign for Sywell ranges & two big green metal gates.

If you miss the turning, keep following the A43 & after about 6-8 miles you will get to a roundabout for the A14 with a car scrap yard on your left. Go round the roundabout & go back the way you came. (See Instructions from south for what to do)

Once you get to the Turning:

Go thru the left hand gate. If shut - stop & open it, it will not be locked.

VERY IMPORTANT - If gate is shut, please close gate from A43 behind you

NOTE: Road to range complex & round to range building has speed humps - watch your speed.

Follow road & this will take you down to range complex. Pass thru open gates (DO NOT SHUT THESE) & follow the road round to the left. Our Range is big concrete building about 100 yards down on right. Signs on side say NTSC (Northampton Target Sports Club)

Park on either side of road level with building. Please note that area before NTSC range belongs to a comerical shotgun range & their customers only are allowed to park on their ground.
