New members are always welcome and you can attend as a visitor before deciding to join, the membership is quite varied and has a healthy junior section. New probationary members can use firearms under supervision and join for a trial six months. This gives them the opportunity to enjoy club membership without having to commit to a full year’s subscription, the club during this period will also assess the potential member on safe firearms handling, range limits and etiquette etc.

If you only want to shoot ‘air’ only then, there are no Home Office restrictions, other than a declaration that you are legally entitled to own/use one.

Current Fees

Joining Fee £25.00

Probationary Membership £40.00 (six months)

Full Membership   £80.00 (twelve months)
                        £60.00 (over 65)
                       £40.00 (under 18)

Membership runs from January to December, Probationary Members who go on to full membership, only pay the balance due for the current year. For example , a probationary member starting in April will be eligible to be considered for full membership in October and will only be required to pay an additional fee to cover the remaining three months of the membership year.

Range Fees

Everyone using the range pays a range fee each time they visit:

Visitors £6.00

Members £3.00

Renewals

All renewals need to be paid to the Membership Secretary by 31st December of each year. A fee of £10 will be levied for late payment. Any member who has not renewed by the date of the Club AGM (Normally held towards the end of February/Middle of March), will be deemed to be no longer a member of the Club & if they wish to rejoin after this date, will need to re-pay the joining fee & all other Fees.
