Well, today at the NTSC we held the Police Pistol and Sky Marshall Qualification Competitions which I must say went fantastically!  Special thanks to Terry and Nigel and the rest of the committee for running a smooth show.  We had a total of 13 shooters take part, with a few others turning up for the day as spectators.  We will post a copy of the scores for each discipline so you can laugh congratulate each other on how well you all did!

We would also like to extend a special thanks to Phil Baker who was the on-site gunsmith for the day.  Phil has a wealth of knowledge with virtually any Co2 pistol you can throw at him, and does a fantastic job and tuning and repairing.  In one instance,a CP-88 that was mis-feeding was stripped, repaired and reassembled in a matter of only ten minutes!  Phil only charges around £20 (£25 if you require the gun posting back to you) for which he can fix most faults including servicing and replacing of valves / seals etc.   You can get in touch with Phil by emailing him here.  Please mention the NTSC when contacting him.

We hopefully will run a similar event in the near future, so would be great to see some more of you attend if possible.  As mentioned, scores and perhaps some pictures to be posted very soon!

No need to attend for whole session, as practice runs and not a formal competition, so don't panic if you are running late!

Non-club members will be charged usual visitor range fee £6.00.
Club pistols may be used free of charge (you will need to buy own pellets & CO2, available from the Club shop @ 50p per caplet).

All shooting will be in accordance with latest IPAS Association rules and beginners will be supervised by an experienced 'buddy', so you can make a start in the sport without 'match pressure'!

Every third Friday evening, monthly, 19.30 hrs - 23.00 hrs

The NTSC's Home Office 'approved' Open Day today was a great success.  Thank you to all the regular members and committee members who gave up their valuable time to assist in the smooth running of the day.

Overall, the turn out for the day was fantasic with a solid 4 hours of shooting!  For those of you who are un-aware, the 'Home Office Approved Open Days' are the only opportunites for members of the public to come along and shoot firearms without having to be a full member of the club.  If you missed out this time around, don't worry, there are plenty more open days planned.  Keep an eye on the events calendar and make a note when the next one appears!
